Re: Regarding the Anthropic AI lawsuit
Did you need to have asserted any copyright/contract to the use of the works to be part of the lawsuit? I really hope you get a pay day from this (but I'm pessimistic that they'll use any excuse not to pay).
I've been looking through the logs of the site recently and I'm pretty sure everyone and ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)
Summer's End (by me - John Van Stry) it's through Baen books, so the ebooks should be selling everywhere.
Sometimes in the Fall is the sequel.
My Wolfhound series mentioned above probably would work for you, but it's only for sale on Amazon.
Luckily, Summer's End is on the Kobo bookstore ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)
I am going on vacation soon, and am looking for some reading suggestions to throw on my Kobo ebook.
They need to be in epub format.
I am a big fan of all of Fel's work, as well as the series "Wolves and Dragons of the Blood" by Mike Cropo (RIP). High fantasy, space opera, and hard sci-fi.

Re: So it's' been almost 36 hours
The problem with the US voting system is that its based on blind faith on the honest of people casting votes. There is literally no way for the government to verify that a voter is actually eligible. On top of that, we aren't even allowed to have voter id requirements because its "racist". Mind you ...

I feel your pain and sorta understand.
My dad with through treatment (surgery, chemo) for colon cancer in the spring. A recent blood test showed the cancer has returned, and he has been scheduled for "urgent" tests.
Fuck cancer.

Looking for a sennadar short story
I think it was written by Fel.
It dealt with someone (Jasana maybe??) a couple of generations later. Kerri's son is in charge of the Wikunia kindgom, as Kerri has gone kinda insane. Don't remember much else, and my search-fu is weak right now.

Re: Lost & Found
This is a NSFW story request.
This is a long story, with a male as a central character. As a young boy, he has a friendship with a girl and it leads to very BDSM-type stuff, with her, at one point, restraining him against a tree and tying a piece of red yarn around his p****.
It skips in time to ...

There are now 10 Sui'Kun, seven who represent 1/7 of the weave, and then three apart.
They (Spider, Tarrin, Jasana) are there to ensure that the weave remains stable. They are the backups that will ensure that, should one, two or three of the other Sui'Kun get killed/die, there will be one that ...

Re: So who is the strongest?
Tarrin's powers were boosted when he was turned to were the second time (his close connection to sorcery allowed him to become a stronger druid, which resulted in him being stronger in sorcery). In addition, Niami tweaked it that time so that he would be on a comparable level to Jasana.

As a father who has recently been through the birth of two daughters, Fel, you got it exactly right. The feelings, emotions and mood. Just perfect.
