Re: This is not my month.

I didn't think my XP office would install on a 64 bit system. You can always run a 32 bit version of a software on a 64 bit OS but not viceversa. (although, technically speaking, you will be compromising on the 'optimal performance' of the software  ) Actually, with MS Office, 32-bit is prefer...

Re: Earth Bond Chapter 19 Discussion (spoilers!)

I'm curious how much more of the story Fel is going to tell at this point; this was a pretty climactic chapter. In theory he could get away with an epilogue of 'they all lived happily-ever-after' (unlikely) and move to a different story. On the other hand, there is room for a lot more stories here. ...

Re: Thor's Child - complete to Chapter 22

I just re-read the Alpha story and started reading this. It's really quite good! There is one hilarious typo in Chapter 11 though... when the sapper group comes in to take care of the explosives, he refers to them as a 'discovered IUD'. An IUD is a contraceptive (Intra-Uterine) Device; I believe you...

Re: Earth Bond, chapter 13.

I read on my Samsung 700T, using MS Word's fullscreen reading mode. No conversion out of Word needed; though for the older stuff I have built epubs so I can read them on my phone or the e-reader I wrote for the 700T.

Yeah, Colloidal Silver... the silver salt deposits in your skin over time, and turns you this neat blue/grey color. Awesome if you want to CosPlay as a Faey or Drow; not so awesome when you don't.

Re: Earth Bond, chapter 4.

Excellent! I'm looking forward to an ending to Shadow Walker, but I'll take as much of this as you're willing to give, Fel. Thanks for using more generic names for things, too; references to iPads, etc, don't gain anything in story-telling terms, and date the story. Especially, given Apple's release...

Re: Fel Tracker

An RSS feed of that sort would be great. I've started using a feed-reader recently for managing the shows I watch on Hulu and some of blog/webcomic stuff; being able to add Fel's posts to that would be awesome.

Apparently the early bird gets the new chapter first, too. As much as I've been looking forward to shadow walker, Imm enjoying Kit, too.

Dellstart, just put the title into the quick search window(upper left) when you log in. 'deja vu' gives you the story we've been discussing as the 5th result. I recommend bookmarking the story's main page, as they want money in order to do things so simple as keeping track of which stories you're re...

Re: Lounge Thread

Got up to 113 last night, and saw the author note at the end about it being completed, and just needing editing. Still don't know why it seems familiar. If the pattern follows, 3.2 million words, most of which are spoken by Julia. :) Man, she's wordy. Amusing, though, when she's in control, not so m...

Re: Lounge Thread

I'm really like Deja Vu Ascendancy even though it seems to be progressing a bit slow at the moment. Understandable given it's length though and at least I can comfort myself with the knowledge it's a completed story and I don't have to worry about the author abandoning it and leaving me hanging whi...

Re: updatish things.

It's going to be delayed, someone at work got fired today. I have to work 16 hours for the next 2 days, then 2 8 hour days, then 1 more 16 hour day, then I get 1 day off before starting it all over again. 1 got fired, 1 is in the hospital, 2 are on vacation, so the rest of us are kinda in a jam. Ou...

Re: olympics?

As I'm sure you've heard before; capitalism/democracy is the worst form of economy/government... except for all the others. Honestly, something like a benevolent dictatorship is really ideal and most efficient; the trick is finding a benevolent dictator, and the problems of how you deal with dissent...

Yay! It's good to just chill and play some games, too, I know. Hopefully your muse is raring to go, though!
