Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

Just finished 2 series by Richard Weyand both are good character driven series. The first is the Colony series which is set in the relative near future and is a story that takes place over the span of hundreds of years of how Humanity finally gets off Earth and then follows the ups and downs on one ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

It's been awhile since a recommendation has been made but I think this one deserves it. It fits in Portal, LitRPG and Cultivation subgenres and it is "He Who Fights with Monsters" by Shirtaloon. 3 books are out on Amazon already with the 4th due at the end of the year, but can be read on R...

Re: Well, hell.

When you say video card, do you mean a separate card you installed made by NVidia or Radeon? or do you mean a built in chipset on the motherboard? The reason I'm asking is if you mean a separate card, and depending on the age of the desktop, it could be like mine that has a built in video chipset th...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I am considering a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Any other recommendations than the ones already in this thread? I like fantasy, SF, military/spy, xanxia/wuxia, LitRPG, paranormal,... I don't care for straight romance or westerns. I enjoy mysteries but usually ones with fantasy/SF spin. For LitRPG...

Re: Citadel Online, Chapter 10.

Good chapter! Looking forward to more. I definitely won't complain if you gave us more of CO instead of earth bond between Revolution and Revelation. It would be awesome to see Kevin's and his friends reaction to the Generation virus and if he get's it by accident or decides after the rulers realiz...

Re: Rumours of my demise - were not started by me!

Example of continuity: Rahne comes from Scotland. So do several others who were detected in Scotland just before the Trillane orbital shot took out Rann and messed up Jason's life. How come nobody has gone back to see if Rahne is known in Scotland and who these Scottish possibles are? Little questi...

Re: What are you reading currently - What Series / Authors are you actively watching?

Just got done with a series that is a little different, it is in the Lit/RPG genre (sorta) but it riffs on anime tropes. The MC is stuck in an anime world and tries to subvert all the tropes while trying to find a way back home. https://www.amazon.com/Anime-Trope-System-LitRPG-Revised-ebook/dp/B07JD...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

Currently without something to read while waiting on various books to come out. Looking for a good were/shape shifter (not the harlequin style that apparently dominates that genre on Kindle) or an antromorphic slice of life similar to Kit. Rating doesn’t really matter The only one I can think of of...

Re: Citadel Online Alternatives

Here is some tips if you do try out Classic: 1. Make sure you pick the right server. Sounds stupid I know but people make mistakes because they rush trying to get to character creation. So if you are not into PvP make sure, absolutely sure you pick a PvE or RP, if you enjoy role playing, server beca...

Re: Citadel Online Alternatives

As a long time MMO player I could see where Fel used features from many different MMO's to base his Citadel Online on, so you won't find any single MMO out there that will line up perfectly. With that being said WoW Classic is based on the original go out and explore different areas MMO (Vanilla WoW...
