Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

It's been almost 2 years since the my last suggestions so here goes a few:

The Wolfhounds series by John Van Stry (also a member of this community). IMO this is Johns best works to date with a plot that has the right pacing with interesting and relatable characters. https://www.amazon.com/Stand ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I am looking for a story. It starts as a father with his daughters, is driving on a mountain highway in the winter. They come upon an accident that has gone into the ditch. He rescues the woman and thus starts the story. I believe that it was on StoriesOnline.com but I could be mistaken. Thank you ...

Re: Revelation12 (spoilers)

Well it is great to get the confirmation of what many years ago believed that Earth was the birthplace of the Faey. To me at least it was self evident when the Dreamers were found with almost identical DNA to the Faey and the Faey able to mate with Humans that not finding other humans places the ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

Couple of recommendations:

1. Azarinth Healer by Rhaegar. This one is still ongoing on Royal Road but is now coming out on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. That means the early chapters have been pulled from RR, but you can now get the cleaned up and newly edited version here:

Re: Lost & Found

I'm remembering a universe, people mutate, I know it's not Whateley. I only clearly remember one story from it where a guy on a mission in the Amazon jungles mutates into a anthropomorphic panther tries to get home to USA is put in a zoo (which is amazingly easy to escape from when you have ...

Re: Remembering When

I remember where and when I learned of Fel, it was from a link on Monbade's Federation story site in 2007 and at the time having more time on my hands than I knew to do with, so I was finding stories in the internet and following links from there. Sadly it has been reported that Monbade passed away ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

Just finished 2 series by Richard Weyand both are good character driven series.
The first is the Colony series which is set in the relative near future and is a story that takes place over the span of hundreds of years of how Humanity finally gets off Earth and then follows the ups and downs on one ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

It's been awhile since a recommendation has been made but I think this one deserves it. It fits in Portal, LitRPG and Cultivation subgenres and it is "He Who Fights with Monsters" by Shirtaloon. 3 books are out on Amazon already with the 4th due at the end of the year, but can be read on Royal Road ...

Re: Well, hell.

When you say video card, do you mean a separate card you installed made by NVidia or Radeon? or do you mean a built in chipset on the motherboard? The reason I'm asking is if you mean a separate card, and depending on the age of the desktop, it could be like mine that has a built in video chipset ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I am considering a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Any other recommendations than the ones already in this thread? I like fantasy, SF, military/spy, xanxia/wuxia, LitRPG, paranormal,... I don't care for straight romance or westerns. I enjoy mysteries but usually ones with fantasy/SF spin.
