Re: Familiar, Chapter 2.

I feel like this is Fel creating yet another magic system and world, and hence the first two chapters have a LOT of exposition ;) Standard Fel hahah.

I will admit I skimmed some of it, but as always I DO love the worlds you create

Re: Just a friendly reminder that COVID is still out there.

I've had I think four doses of the vaccine now, but I've also had covid twice. Both instances of covid were very mild though, no worse than a cold (definitely not flu level).

Re: Update...and not the fun kind.

Man that sucks. I wish I lived vaguely locally (rather than another country) so I could drive over with a load of timber and singles and try to help out. Not that I have ever rebuilt a roof but no time to learn like the present! I know you're trying to dissuade it, but you really should sort out you...

Re: Familiar, Chapter 1.

Thoughts! I liked it, as is pretty normal of things you write, thought maybe I have biases, that said! It's weird for a chapter to start without a datetime header on it ;) There's a lot of early exposition. This comes with the territory of how-Fel-writes, and I enjoy it most of the time (the hard ma...

Re: Well past time for an update.

Gutted to hear about your recent sickness and troubles. I've friends with long covid and it's nasty, hoping you don't have to push yourself too hard (which can make it worse). Glad you managed to keep your job (though the idea of being fired for sickness is weird to me  )! That said, looking ...

New www.sennadar.com site

Hi All, You've probably seen Kyli working on AI generated covers for all of the ebooks, well now they've put together a new front page for https://www.sennadar.com which I've published today. Thanks for Kyli for all the work (and to Fawks for some of the descriptive text which was lifted from the ol...

Re: AI generated cover images for Subjugation books.

So where will the books/epubs be published with these new covers? Especially now that weavespinner.net is down and for purchase. J-Man5 I am currently redoing all the Tarrin books from scratch. I was a bit lazy the first time by using word docs from weavespinner instead of compiling them myself. Th...

Revelation 11

I was under the impression that unlike Terran and Faey, Terran and Shio weren't biologically compatible enough to have children (Shio have green blood after all!).

Did Fel decide to change that because he wants Kevin and Sano to have children, or did he forget ;)

Re: Remembering When

This has made me search for "NewNet" in the forums history and reminisce about old times I was 13-14 or so when I first met Fel (I'm 39 now, so around 1996), I don't know how we met, but we were chatting on an IRC network called NewNet, probably both being trouble makers, and got talking a...

Re: Demon descriptions

I could be wrong about this, it has been a hot minute since I read the books, but aren't they straight-up the demons/devils out of the D&D Monster Manual of the same names? Yeah definitely are, @JustTheTip: Google the demon names and you'll find plenty of accurate description. Cambion's : The o...

Re: AI generated cover images for Subjugation books.

Less then a week to go in the poll for the Awe of the Dwarven King cover image. Option 4 is winning as of now so if you have a different favorite, go vote now. I am also considering changing the cover image for books 3 and 5 of the Firestaff Chronicles. Anyway, here is a preview of all 3 Pyrosian c...

Re: Poll: Pyrosian book 1 cover

I'm trying to remember where the dwarven city is in relation to the other features of the desert, were the spires nearby, where there hills, or was it relatively flat? It's been a while since my last read so I can't entirely recall.

Re: AI generated cover images for Subjugation books.

It would be nice to get some feedback on here, guys. I put together these 2 covers. What do you think? I am going with the black cat images mostly because the AI can't handle complex scenes well. Edit: Reuploading the 2 covers and adding 3 more. This completes the Firestaff Chronicles. Now for the ...
