Re: Well...that's that. A major announcement.

Which promises did Trump make that would make your sister a legal target for harassment, make her face jail time, and lose her job exactly? I'm no heavy into politics kinda guy, but I would have thought I'd catch a snippet of that somewhere... Can ya link me to that one? Sorry about the late reply,...

Re: Well...that's that. A major announcement.

Fel, I feel for you. I don't mean that in the sappy touchy-feely way. I mean I completely understand what you are going through. My older sister was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder 3 years ago, and just last year suffered a work-place injury that still impedes her mobility. Without free access...

Re: Earth Bond Chapter 21 Discussion (spoilers!)

The Chinese government is actually more restrictive of information than they need to be. The likelihood of a counter-revolution to overthrow the Communist Party and gather a democratic representative government is very low. China was built upon a Socialized Obligatory Dictatorship controlled by a Mo...

Re: Island Invasion

As the dragons meet the requirement's for being deemed sapient, I wouldn't imagine them being denied equal protection under the U.N., as the charter doesn't actually protect human's, only nations. Yes, China has announced their INTENT to purchase 24 Su-35 multi-role jet fighter aircraft from Russia,...

Re: Island Invasion

That would take a ruling from the U.N. Security Council, which won't happen, as the U.S.A. is one of the permanent members of, along with China. The only way China could pull off an invasion of Draconia without becoming a rogue nation would be to have a formal declaration of war and wait until after...

Re: Island Invasion

I just wish to point out that the use of thermonuclear devices and attacks on a civilian populace is strictly prohibited by Protocol I of the Geneva Convention. China is both a signatory and has ratified Protocol I, which "outlaw indiscriminate attacks on civilian populations, and destruction of foo...

Re: How did you learn about Fel/Sennadar?

I first found Fel when looking for good stories online back in 2005, I think it was during the 2nd or 3rd book of the Pyrosian Chronicles maybe? I devoured Sennadar and Subjugation. Then I read the other stories that were posted. I was really hoping Alpha Start was going somewhere, but alas, nothing.

Re: Lost & Found

It's been forever since I read Sea King, I think it was when colt started the Mayhem series. Colt45 hasn't done anything new since early 2012 though, has he? Colt45's writing is pretty good. Invid Fan has a similar style if you want to check out the Bells series: http://storiesonline.net/library/sho...

Re: Something I'm Confused about with Ebooks

Seriously? People didn't know that Baen has had multiple format free download books for years? Hell, I started reading from the free library as soon as I found out about it...which would have been right after I read my first Weber book Crown of Slaves...that was 2005 I think. From my College Library...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

The Galactic Chronicles Series by Vanessa Ravencroft - very good space opera. http://www.fictionpress.com/u/539273/ The Ghost and the Recluse by Dual Writer - very good contemporary story, a lot like Kit http://storiesonline.net/s/71089 Anything by Lazlo Zalezac http://storiesonline.net/a/Lazlo_Zal...

Thank you, Fel, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had warning lights go off during this election. And whose warnings about racism were ignored until afterward.

Re: well all things considered

It is odd to think that elections the United States of America forces on other countries REQUIRES 60% of the populous to vote to even be considered legal, and yet this election had less that 50% of the REGISTERED voters actually vote...in any other country the U.S. Department of State would have req...

Re: The Aurora Project, Chapter 1 **SPOILERS**

Okay, took me a bit to read. I kept having to stop and clear my head. The background information is well developed, but is most of that necessary? It looked like you wanted to explain all the facets of history leading up to the Alliance, but the majority was excess that could be explained by charact...
