Re: Update...and not the fun kind.

Ouch, condolences, man. My dad dragged me into helping with some redo of the roof when I was younger, and it wasn't fun doing that in weather that swung from stormy to melting-hot. Hope you have lots of tarps -- that's the one thing I remember, cover any open space you're working on in tarps when yo...

Re: New www.sennadar.com site

Would suggest a minor edit to the cover page: both words of "Firestaff Chonicles" should have the letter R in them.

Re: Revelation, Chapter 11.

Took me a couple days before had a chance to read this. Very cool, both in itself and because the new plot aspect is vaguely akin to one of my all-time favorite (and unfinished) stories, David R Palmer's Threshold. It really is a VAGUE tie: similar start with a Terran exposed to an advanced race of ...

Re: Revelation, Chapter 9.

Good, glad to hear you're recovering and it wasn't one of the BIG bads.

Mixed feelings about the chapter: nice to have, but this is you resting? Good overall, though.

So thanks and GET SOME REST!!! :-D

Re: Good news!

Dang, man, good deal!

But hey, maybe take a few days to get in some naps when you can? You gotta be feeling pretty ragged, and we all want you nice and healthy and happy as possible.

... and not just because we get better stories that way! ;-D

Re: Well, hell.

Um, maybe this isn't the greatest idea or won't work for you, but what about some place like Rent-A-Center, where you rent appliances until you can afford to buy them? Don't know how worthwhile stuff from that kind of place is, but maybe something to look into?

Re: Question for the smart guys

Yeah, one of those boundary-zone discontinuities, and fair odds you're pegged the right one, Isengrim. Knew I was forgetting a lot, but looks like there's even more I need to review for my project. Still, that might be roughly WHERE I'm looking for, but not WHAT; it's like me saying I'm looking for ...

Re: Question for the smart guys

You're likely right, Fel. All I can say is that what I (vaguely) remember referred to a section near the Great Plains the referenced experts thought should be stable, much like in the article Kacoo mentioned. [Thanks, friend!] Don't recall if they'd thought it was part of an ancient craton or not, b...

Question for the smart guys

Need a little help, and I know you bunch are not only clever but read a lot. Trying to track down an article I read some years back that suggested possible causes of some midwest quakes. Gist was that the crust-mantle border wasn't flat but more like an undersea mountain range, only inverted with a ...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

Good grief, dude! I've looked for that thing for decades, and you find it in one day? Either you are amazing, or I really suck using cloud search. Eh, what am I saying? I -KNOW- I suck at cloud; I am very much a Boolean baby. Still, thanks bud!
