Been meaning to post this for a while...
Caravan Palace are a French 'Electro-Swing' group that have some pretty neat songs.
Their Lone Digger video clip makes me think about the Kit series every time I watch it.
Also, if you liked that, they look like they put on an awesome show.

Re: Need some program advice
After all, you have to trust them to actually only install exactly what you would download and install yourself. No additional bloatware, no malware, etc. They've been around for years, and have a solid reputation. They install *just* the application selected, they unselect any additional toolbars/...

Been reading a series of short stories/individually-published-chapters by Robert Black called Bad Metal. It's set in a post-apocalyptic world where Robots have replaced a lot of manual labour. I have no idea what you're talking about. Why would you even accuse me of such things? There's no proof.

Re: Best android \iPhone games or time wasting apps
I've been playing Ingress - it's an alternate reality game, need to actually walk (ride, jog, drive, etc) around and capture territory for one of the two teams (team green or team blue). I have downloaded it, but haven't messed with it yet. It looks like it combines gaming and geo-caching. Only the...

I've been playing Ingress - it's an alternate reality game, need to actually walk (ride, jog, drive, etc) around and capture territory for one of the two teams (team green or team blue). There's a three main actions in the game: - Hacking Portals (gives you equipment and keys to that portal) - Attac...

I know, I know, to achieve a human brain we need to put together at least a 1000 of these chips but still There seems to be a lot of marketing guff surrounding this. We don't know what they consider "brain like" operations, we don't know how mutable these are. And their paper is locked be...

People bitch about Windows Vista, but personally I liked it. The main reason for slowness was because Microsoft finally pulled the rug out from device manufacturers, in particular the Graphics Cards manufacturers. Traditionally device manufacturers had a terrible reputation for producing drivers whi...

Most of the mobile OSes do something similar (iOS, Android) and you likely need to jailbreak the device Actually, you don't. Android, it's a one-tick option to enable "third party" sources. iOS any developer can enter your iOS device's serial number for apps that haven't yet been certifie...

Re: This is not my month.
My dislike of Windows 8 goes far beyond just having a start button icon. I believe that they're trying to make one UI work for too many devices. Metro works great on tablets and mobiles where the primary interaction is via touch. On desktops - they're primarily keyboard/mouse. Even when you have a t...

Actually, you'll see a quite significant improvement in performance by switching to SSDs, pretty much regardless of what your use-case is. Hmmm... I knew about how they worked and why they were different but did not know that you can notice difference in simple programs !! Honestly speaking, I have...

Would a jack make the input faster? Well, if you have 200 buses for data transfer and you add 1 more, you DO get a very slight performance increase... *ahem* Would it? Are we talking about something that gets a better result with more bandwidth? Or would faster reaction times be just a factor of la...
