I've actually never played a pokemon game. The TV show with the too disgustingly cute to live pikachu turned me off of the genre. I am eagerly anticipating Dragon Age 2, DIablo 3 and Skyrim, though. First, how old is the universe itself? Is the planet of the same age? I remember being intrigued enough by the skybands that I asked my astronomy professor about them, and it seems that keeping them up on anything but a young rocky planet would require (easily available) divine intervention.

Sha'Kar's basis?

I noticed some similarities between Sha'Kar and Japanese, though Sha'Kar looks like it's much more difficult, and my Japanese is pretty poor. Just wondering if that was indeed the language you used as a base model?
