Fel's New Story: Familiar
So, three chapters of Fel's new story about people from the real world being summoned as magical familiars in a magical world have been published so far, and so far I'm rather enjoying Kenneth and Kiyo's adventures. The treatment of those people who were bound by a familiar contract is horrifying, b...

Re: Revelation12 (spoilers)
Well, we have already seen the amazing thing that Tarrin can do when synched up with Cybi. The thought of what he could do with multiple CBIM's + an entire galaxy worth of Psychic power is kind of frightening and your not wrong, such a gestalt WOULD be godlike. Maybe not on the level of a Prime God ...

Re: Revelation12 (spoilers)
Yeah, that part isn't to surprising (Jason being an Entropic). The emergence of a galactic-wide psychic collective consciousness in the future, though...that's huge . I'm going to be really interested as we learn more about these 'Dark Ones'. The kind of power the shaman was talking about is kind of...

Re: Remembering When
...I'm trying to think when I stumbled upon Fel's fics, and having a hard time remembering (curse you memory!) I think it was around 2004-6, and I know I started with the Sennedar series, before also branching out to Subjugation. I THINK I might have seen Weavespinner on a recommended page on a web ...

Re: Outlandish Theories? Spoilers for Subjugation and Sennadar universes
Yeah, they are more than a bit suspicious. And yeah, remember how...fractured and scheming the Fey are even after Jason and the empress have stamped down on that sort of thing. These super advanced versions who have super advanced tech...yeah, I'm a bit worried, though Jason seems to be trying to ke...

Re: Citadel Online Alternatives
If your looking for some good MMO's... * FFXIV is doing pretty well, but the 'starting experience' is pretty meh and its very story focused. While the story gets good later on its probably not lining up to the open 'do whatever the hell you want' that Citidel Online was offering * World of Warcraft ...

Re: Revolution Ch 7 - (SPOILERS)
One possibility is that the IMS are going against the law that was passed by the Empress that killed of Old Keris. Remember breeding programs are taboo in the Imperium. I wonder if the IMS is trying to recreate the Generations the hard way after Jason smacked people down for trying to kidnap a Gener...

Re: Citadel Online
I rather enjoyed this. The events didn't have any world shaking events like the various battles that have racked teh galaxy, but in its own way it was more powerful by being on the ground. Xan was a powerful and skilled player but he wasn't a Grand Duke worried about the politics of an entire galaxy...

Re: Revolution Ch 3 (SPOILERS!!!!)
I think what fel said was that they were a sub-species of early human's who rather than be wiped out or bred into the wider population as usually happens, were picked up by this super advanced race and altered. IN likelihood they probably did have some telepathic powers, just no more often or not th...

Re: Revolution Ch 3 (SPOILERS!!!!)
Random thought: The 'Magic System' in the game seems rather complex, and Jason is learning how to use it. While we have the Pai(IIRC) as the super Telekinetics, and Jason is learning from them, I think it would be interesting if the runes of power from the games magic system applied to his telekinet...

Re: Revolution Chapter 2 (Spoilers)
Vanguard seems more a scaled up Battlefield/Battlefront game seeing as you can go from infantary to space feets IIRC. That said Citidal would be pretty amazing as well. And yeah there's no way you could take even the vastly reduced territory of the Consotrium and give it to one Shadow Organsiation. ...

Question about Earth post Subjugation
So, I've been slowly rereading this series and a thought occured to me. All the way back in Subjugation Chapter 1, when the omniscient narrator is talking about the Faey arrival, even before we meet Jason, it mentioned that when the Faey turned up and put everybody on farms, there was, obviously, ma...
