Re: Feel and the My Little Pony Movie

Took my daughters to see the MLP movie, I have one right in the middle of the target demographic. It was about as good and had a similar plot line to most of the MLP season closer two part episodes, just twice as long.

Re: Audiobooks

I prefer function over style when it comes to Audiobooks. One hour commutes twice a day are so much better with books read out loud. For general usage, an app I think was suggested somewhere on this site works great for me. Voice Dream. Just throw any kind of text / book file at it and it will read ...

Re: Conviction, chapter 13.

Argh, we were spoiled by 2 chapter releases only days apart. Now I'm refreshing the forum page multiple times per hour it seems. More than half done is better than nothing I guess. As long as lawns/pokemon/WoW/MLP do not get too much in the way, it shouldn't be too much longer now.

Re: A possible return to Kit

Although I'm not a big fan of it usually, Fel could write it as a time skip. Get into day-to-day of 2016 of Kit's life, and maybe bring up the significant events of 2008-16 in his life as back story in the continuation.

Re: Fiction like Kit

I would go for Nathan Lowell's Trader's Tales series starting with Quarter Share for a similar feel to Kit. It is sci-fi though so it's more of a slice of space life, but really focuses on a guy making his way in the galaxy. No aliens, desperate struggles for the fate of the universe, and only a tou...

Re: So, now that that's nearly over...

Just re-read Kit and this post reminded me of a passage in it: He leaned his head back against the velvet-covered wall behind him, watching a riding mower roll back and forth across the football field-sized front lawn, part of the meticulous grooming the entire manor underwent on a weekly basis. Eve...

Re: Good Books (Scifi)

I am looking for novels online or otherwise that are similar to the Subjugation Universe and Star force series by Ayr-ki Jyr in the regards to empire building in a science fiction setting. Star force: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6151456.Aer_ki_Jyr Does anyone have any suggestions? What I'...

Disney Zootopia?

Looks like Disney just stole Fel's entire premise from his Kit Vulpan stories.

Re: Yeah, so....

I think subjugation was halted at a good place. I do want to see more of that world, but I'd want another epic story that is up to par with what has been written to date. On the other hand, I would like to see more of Kit in the near future. Though Fox and the Hawk is a nice story too, just feels a ...

Re: Well, that's one less distraction.

No Man's Sky has been getting a lot of attention. http://kotaku.com/i-played-15-minutes-of-no-man-s-sky-1714196124 Very ambitious, though the decision to make it completely sandbox may hurt it in the long run. While it's nice to be able to do whatever the hell you want in a game, purposely leaving n...

Re: Links to Good Reading (Part 2)

I've been finding a lot of surprisingly good stuff at http://www.royalroadl.com/ lately. A bit of background on the site is that it started out as a free translation site for Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (a great Korean LN that is not even completely translated) though evolved into a LMS fanfic site...
