Thanks for that Grey. I usually check the site once a day and I see the guests are down to 31 this morning, from 350+ yesterday.

Initial page loading and transitions were even slower today, around 20-30 seconds each. Oddly, logging in was quicker at 10-15 seconds. Still 400+ guests, apparently.

Same here today. Couldn't log in a couple of days ago due to some SQL problem, now this slowdown where loading the site, logging in and page transistions take 15-20 seconds each. As Kyli said, there's 500+ 'guests'. Don't know if that's the cause though.

Glad to hear you're mending well and even more so that you're able to work, both in the wages sense and on stories. Hope the physio goes well and isn't too painful. They say 'no pain, no gain', but I have to think there's a limit, unless you're a masochist! Wishing you all the best.

Glad to hear it's done and you'll hopefully get back to a pain-free life (apart from the therapy!) in the near future. May the healing be quick.

As Lochar said, we're just glad for what you've already written and that you're still around; don't stress about more writing until you feel up to it. Pretty sure you only get one life so live it as you want to, not at the behest of others - even us readers :). Hope the surgery goes well and heals ...

Don't worry about thinking you need a prolific output at all times. You've given us a huge amount of excellent (and free) reading material already. If you need to slow down or even stop due to real life issues, so be it. It's your life so if you need a break, take it. I for one just feel ...
