Some stories are better left untold. The best works in history don't sweat the details. Those that try fail miserably (ie, star wars 1 2 3). Although it IS tempting...

It could probably be done as a CGI film. Some of the effects (shape shifting) done by computers can be pretty spectacular.

Plus the thought of the Vendari with big cute anime eyes just doesn't paint a pretty picture, at least for me.  :P

I just spent the past 3 weeks reading this entire series only to have the links stop working at chapter 9 of sword, and I had to DIG for that.  >:(

It's a great series, and I must admit I haven't been caught up this much by a book/series in YEARS.
