Yup "Castle in the Sand" is like Hearly said it's about a down and out guy that Wins the lottery and then Buys a old missile silo and starts fixing it up as his home. while he's doing this he ends up rescuing a Teenage runaway. and Several girls and women and ends up making a new fabric Spinning process that earns him more $$$ and more Women for his harem. The Russian goverment is sure he's doing secret work on some New type of Electronic or Bio weapon so they start trying to kidnap him or his women and all sorts of others get involved as well.

It's sad to see some of the promising writers that are chased off the net because someone doesn't like their writing style or their grammar isn't very good.

As seen in this last message from D.J. "Doc" Pedersen AKA Deana Johns Posted to ASSTR in 2000

Sandcastles

yeah, sorry got my wires crossed. its NSFW and has heavy elements of BDSM. it was recomended to me and did take a while to get into. one thing i can say is that it is a very good peice of writing. it just flows. Character development and story develpment are good. :oops: oh yeah its also very carnal. VERY NSFW!!!

er not sure if i'm allowed to post the link to it, so i'll ask;

<gets out megaphone>

Yes, links to ASSTR, SO, and such are permitted* - but any NSFW/Adult Content needs to be marked as such.

* = Within reason, and as long as the author has permitted the given site to publish it.

Earth Base Alpha has been moved off the Yahoo groups and is now found at http://www.eutharan.com. Click link at bottom of the page that says 'forum' and then sign up for a membership. The books are in the forum only readable by registered members.
Once again, you don't have to donate anything to read the story.
You don't have to buy the self published book to read it.

What I think he meant was that you couldn't or shouldn't publish links to Pirate,Warez or Rip-off pay sites that use an authors work with out their permission.
I don't think he meant you had to have a publicly posting authors permission to post a link to their own story site or Site that they use to post their stories.

ASSTR, SOL, EWP, Ruthies Club and Beyond the far horizon. are Sites that The authors them self's publish their own works at and Posting a Link to an author at one of these would be fine and reasonable as long as the link was Flagged (NSFW/Adult Content) due to the Erotic nature of most Stories at these sites.

Ask Spec8472 for further clarification on it if you still have questions.
