You don't need to bite to be dangerous... You've got plenty of weapons, among them your spoon... ;)

Yes, I'm back. And aware that I'd missed something important along the way. Yes, I'm also back on my fanfic hype. For those of you who like Bubblegum Crisis, here's _the_ BGC fanfic - even if it's a crossover. I could wax on and on about it, but instead I'll just say that it's GOOD and leave it at that.

It just got finished yesterday ... well, one part did. Five years of work peeps went into this thing, and the guy is talented. Is it any wonder I'm hyper today.

An original work of sorts. I can't really do it justice with a description here. The link I posted leads to the series' site, and the author did good work in putting up a summary, so go read his if you're not an avid hater of the superhero genre. And even if you are, there's a chance that you won't be after this. A small one, but still ...

Here are some links to good reading found in the thread 'Kharke'. I tried to not repeat links posted earlier in this thread.

"Want to read a great, intense, Sci Fi story? Please check out: The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect by Roger Williams". From kuro5hin.org. Quote and link from Artie (at ASSTR).

Not that original, but quite nice.

I have found lately the fantasy e-book "In Serein" http://inserein.com/, Of Sorcerers & Apprentices. And I'm reading it now.

Found it at http://www.published.com, Books & E-Books, Fiction, search for Format: E-Book and Might Consider Trades: (free); I don't know if the latter is really important.

I was sent here by a friend who just told me about Fel's works. I'm going to start reading them soon, but for now, I'll drop off a line by giving you all a link to a project I've started up. A little story I call "Starlight Legacies."

http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=1636742

Hope this occupies some of you people until Fel writes more Sennadar, and if you're a member of FictionPress.Net drop off a review. I'd like to hear what you people think.

Happy Reading. ^^

I am rather surprised that nobody has linked The Crusade.  It's VERY heavily oriented towards action, moves fast, and has long chapters.  I'm not sure which I like more, actually--The Crusade or the Farrin novels.  Both have their good and bad points, and they seem fairly even to me, so...

Here is the link:  http://crusade.darkicon.com/

The story is currently at 44 chapters, so it should keep anybody who reads it busy for half a day or so if reading straight through.  ^_^

And don't forget the site this story is hosted, namely Dark Icon, with many more stories to read, e.g. "Magekiller" and December stories. Quite dark. SF, fantasy and horror.

I liked those stories (from Dark Icon Original Fiction). There are quite good. There are short ones, and longer novels. Quite dark they are... I have read Magekiller, December and Kultra stories. And of course Crusader.

The only problem might be with navigation. Sometimes you use side panel ("What's Related" or "Explore"), sometimes table of contents in main part of the page. And sometimes chapters in TOC are not in order. The stories are usually in chronological order. And once there was missing chapter in table of contents: I had to decrease the story/page number in URL from the next chapter.
