Chapter 21: Kimmie begins to teach Tarrin Wizard magic. Tarrin begins to create the Druid spell Triana required to complete his teaching. Tarrin creates a nine layer spell that mimics a Sorcerers ability to Teleport. Triana and Sapphire arrive to learn Tarrin's spell. Tarrin returns to learning Wizard magic and Torian with Kimmie, which irritates Jesmind. Dar and Tiella's son, Tarvis, is born. Tarrin and Jesmind have a fight and Tarrin seals off his library and leaves the house for good. Tarrin goes to Suld and visits Haley in his festhall. Spyder arrives and asks if he will stand in her place as Guardian while she rests. Tarrin agrees and they Teleport to Haven, Spyder's home.

Chapter 22: Spyder gives him a charm that attaches to the back of his shaerum that eliminates the need for sleep. Tarrin settles into the routine of traveling and exploring, only to return to Haven when summoned to defend the Gate. Tarrin meets Tsukatta, a warrior from another dimension. They agree to spar and Tarrin learns more about his wings and how to fight with them. Dar and Tiella have a little girl, Nyelle. Spyder returns to her place as Guardian after two years and the Goddess ask Tarrin to go talk to Phandebrass and act on what he says.

Chapter 23: Phandebrass asks Tarrin to translate an ancient Dwarven stone tablet, that refers to the exodus of the Dwarves to another dimension accompanied by a group of katz-dashi. Tarrin enlists Phandebrass's help with finding the Gate they used. Triana takes Jasana to her den to begin her Druidic training. Mist ejects Jesmind from Tarrin's house and declares that SHE is now Tarrin's mate, an idea which he finds appealing. Tarrin decides to visit Sapphire and the Gnomes in hopes they have some information on the disappearance of the Dwarves. Allia announces she is pregnant. Sapphire knows nothing, but the Gnomes narrow the search for the Gate down to 5 located in the Skydancer mountains and give Tarrin a map of their locations. Clangeddin, one of the Dwarven gods, tells the Gnomes to give Tarrin a travelling Wizard spellbook. The Goddess shows Tarrin a vision of the Gate, which will help him locate it but tells him they cannot leave till after Allia's baby is born.

Chapter 24: Mist announces that she will be accompanying him to the other dimension. Tarrin transfers every Wizard spell he knows into the Gnomlin Traveling Spellbook and then scouts for the Gate. He finds it easily and then grounds himself to it. Mist asks Tarrin to make her a belt similar to the one he made for Jesmind, only one that would create a human illusion instead of camoflage. He agrees to do it and also makes her a set of Cat's Claws. Dolanna arrives at the house and declares she is going with him on the journey. On a trip to Suld Tarrin runs into Haley, who announces that he is going along also, to protect Dolanna. Fireflash and Sarraya sulk when they find out they can't go on the mission because there may not be an All there. Azakar and Ulger volunteer. Spyder teaches Tarrin about the Astral, through which they will have to travel in order to return to Sennadar. Miranda arrives at Tarrins house, now a full Priestess of Kikkalli, and says her Goddess told her that she must accompany him also. It will be Miranda's ability to use her magic on another world as a Priestess of a Younger God, that will allow her to create a gate to the Astral that will enable the group to return to Sennadar. Kimmie transfers all of her spells into the Gnomlin Travelling Spellbook and asks Tarrin to transport her to Suld, as Phandebrass has made some kind of mysterious breakthrough. Tarrin discovers, quite accidentally, that his daugher, Tara, has a considerable talent for Sorcery. After checking Rina, he finds she has a more recessed ability but that both cubs will have to go to the Tower for training. Tarrin contacts Kimmie, who is traveling with Phandebrass to Castle Keening to investigate the possible location of a scion, the Wizard equivalent of a Teleportation device. Tarrin takes the cubs to the Tower.

Chapter 25: Miranda moves in after 2 weeks. Dolanna, Azakar, and Ulger show up soon thereafter. Mist returns from getting Eron tested by the Hierarchs and immediately throws him out the house to explore the world. Mist announces that she will be assuming her full, natural height. Allia's son, Kor, is born. Tarrin notices that Triana, Kimmie, and Phandebrass do not show up for the birth and contacts Triana, who tells him that she lost her sense of Kimmie two rides ago. Tarrin and Jula and Triana meet in Tarrin's library and then Teleport to the last location where Triana could sense Kimmie, in the Skydancer mountains. They discover that Kimmie and Phandebrass were forced through the Gate that the Dwarves used by an avalanche. The group prepares for an immediate departure to go after them. The group transports to the Gate and Sarrays shows up, flying through the gate also, having made an amulet that allows her to live without the All. The group finds the new dimension is much like their own, except neither Sorcery nor Druidic magic work.

Epilogue: The Goddess appears in Tarrin's library and takes his black cat statue. We hear a caption of a conversation between her and the other gods from a few months ago and learn that the other gods plan to keep Tarrin from returning to Sennadar.

THE END

Hi Corina,

The third book has not been written jet, so there is no way to get a copy.

I hope Fel starts writing it somewhere in the near future.

Until that time join the horde of fans with withdrawalsymptoms, like: shaking hands, bouts of pouting and ranting at poor creatures that start new subjects with the word chapter in it. ;)
