Are Gnomes Fae-da'Nar? Later on in "Axe of the Dwarven King" Gnomes are mentioned as separate race, cousins of Dwarves, living on an island. I don't have a quote, but it looks like they are not part of Fae-da'Nar community."You're a Rogue, boy. I should be trying to rip your head off right now, but I've given you hospitality. Every Were-kin, Dryad, Druid, Faerie, Pixie, Sylph, Nymph, Gnome, and Centaur in the West is hunting for you. I'm shocked you made it this far without running into someone."

Tarrin also notes that they are only a few generations from dying out. I figure Fae-da'Nar is letting them go their own way, because they are following the rules, and they won't be around much longer.
