Good Youtube Clips!

Post by Sancria »

So I'm bored, thought I'd try to set up a new thread so we can all argue about which is the best clips.

Try to keep them clean, and include a small description of the clip you are posting.

For my first effort, I'm going to post 3 clips, which I think are very cool.

1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uYrmYXsujI
This is a clip of the great Pavarotti singing Schubert's Ave Marie. I picked this one because not only is Pavarotti a cultural icon, but because he changed the world for opera, bring it mainstream. And also, this is very beautiful arrangement.

2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo-BEPAI-2U
I picked this clip cause it reminds me of being a kid and just enjoying a good kungfu movie. No special effects, just amazing fighting. Also this is a true classic example of an old "chop socky."

3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6KnUW9N3Zo
Because I'm a fan of the human form and this girl is just a bit too flexible to be human. There's got to be something wrong with being able to pole dance like this. That being said, it makes the stripper here look pretty pathetic in comparison.

I challenge you to post something cool that I can watch. And you guys all know you use youtube too.
I'd gladly travel back in time, except I would have to wait longer for the next chapter of Fel's work...sorry, pass.

Darth Vader Plays The Blues. Nuff said.

2-4) http://br.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7B4D96693D9D4F46
Naruto: Team 7 Vs One Piece: Straw Hat Crew. Needs no more description. Should be watched for the animation, if nothing else, if you are unfamiliar with either series.

This a great idea! (Though to be honest, the geek in me prefers finding new webcomics , than U tube clips)

Well that human form clip , she's Aussie, so of course shes better than anyone else.

Plus Weresmilodon , if you link onto that Darth Vader, the other links there are bloody funny as well.A Drunk Yoda-- classic!

Well in order to understand this one , you have to understand a bit about the game of cricket.Basically , the thing is the Bowler (pitcher) runs in and bowls the ball with out bending his arm.The fielding team, then has to catch the hard cork ball in their bare hands(no gloves), which can be going up to a speed of 90 miles per hour (145 KMh). Yep...... not for the fainthearted!

That last one has to be one of my most fav catches of all time! classic!!

I have to admit, after seeing the pole dance, strippers at the local club are pretty sad. That and I'm thinking of naming my next born daughter Felix :P

This is I think one of the most watched clips ever!

I changed my mind, and thought this would be a better choice.

This has to be one of the most moving scenes in movie history.I think that that the music is almost haunting, in its beauty.

OK here is the Orangina ad:

I would wish they used these techniques if they ever made film versions of Shadow walker or Kit.

And here's how they made it:
